The Hong Kong Racing MuseumIntroduction It is opened on 18 October 1996 and dedicates to horse racing in Hong Kong and the Club's charitable role. It is located at Happy Valley Racecourse on Hong Kong Island. It has 6,000 square feet in size with a striking view of the Happy Valley Racecourse. The mission of museum is to chart the history of The Hong Kong Jockey Club and mark the Club's charitable role in Hong Kong's development. It also preserve horseracing history in Hong Kong.
The Origin of HorsesShows the migration route horses travelled in the early days from the northern part of China to Hong Kong.
skeleton of 'Silver Lining'Displays the skeleton of the three-time Hong Kong Champion 'Silver Lining'. Two interactive game stations provide a library of information on horses. Two videos take the visitor through a day in the life of a trainer in Hong Kong and the characteristics of a champion.
