The HSBC BuildingDescriptionThe headquarters of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation is a modern glass and steel building designed by the famous English architect Norman Foster. It is one of the most expensive buildings in the world and is on the world-class excellent buildings list.
Viewed by the Bank as a long-term asset, the present building was commissioned in 1980 and completed in November 1985. It is considered one of the finest and most innovative bank buildings in the world.
